Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, popularly referred to as Jenifer, has called on her fans to beware of pirated copies of her work `Jenifer’s Diary.’
Akindele took to her Instagram page to warn her fans against buying pirated copies of the series.
“Please, don’t buy pirated copies of Jenifa’s Diary; the original is available at all DVD stores and supermarkets.’’
Speaking in same vein, another Nollywood diva, Chioma Chukwuka, also took to her Instragram to stress her feelings on piracy.
“It is so sad to know that people sit within the confines of their homes and places of work with no time at all, steal someone else’s time, money and sweat.
“This is so painful and as a producer and content provider, I feel what Funke Akindele is going through now.
“It is not just her fight, it is our fight and since the government is yet to put their full weight behind us to fight this battle, we shall do our own bit with our voices.
“Say no to piracy, help spread the word on all your social media platforms; buy the original DVD of Jenifa’s Diary,’’ Chukwuka said.
