Atiku, Saraki, South-West governors for Ooni’s book launch

Former Vice President Abubakar Atiku and Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, are expected in Lagos on Tuesday at the public presentation and launch of a book titled, ‘O TI SEE SEE’: IT IS DONE.
The event will be chaired by Atiku, the Aare Adimula of the Source.
The spokesman for the launch committee, Babajide Macauley, said governors of the South-West states, members of the diplomatic corps and other top government functionaries are expected to grace the occasion”.
Also expected are traditional rulers across the country including, corporate Nigeria, civil society groups and the media.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State is the chief host.
Giving details of the book, Macauley disclosed that it is “a compendium of select accolades and goodwill messages in honour and commemoration of the installation of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the 51st Ooni of Ife and Arole Oodua.
“The 324-page bookwork, he further discloses, was written by a research and documentation outfit, Printmarks International. “It is an archival reference material that seeks to promote Yoruba cultural values, customs and civilization.”
A major highlight of the event is the conferment of honorary awards by the Ooni on some select prominent Yorubas “in recognition of their contributions to the progress of the Yoruba race over the years and who have distinguished themselves in their various areas of human endeavour,” Macauley said.  
The event holds  at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to  information gleaned from a reliable source at the royal palace in Ife, the event is said to be very close to the Ooni’s heart.
This, the source said, highlights the setting up of a launch committee  personally commissioned by His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni to organize and ensure success of the event.
The source also disclosed  that “the launch committee has since been on its toes and everything is in place for a successful event” as “dignitaries invited have confirmed their attendance and “all is set for the epoch making event”.
