Pursuant to the purported notice of expulsion of one of our notable party leaders published at Page 62 of THE NATION of Tuesday, April 14th, 2015, and page 51 of VANGUARD NEWSPAPER of 15th April, 2015, which necessitated the said emergency meeting, the following resolutions were adopted:
(1) That we congratulate our President elect – General Muhammadu Buhari and his vice – Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and our great party for the resounding victory recorded at the just concluded 2015 General Elections.
(2) That we also commend and salute the indefatigable efforts that were geared into the March 28th, 2015, presidential elections conducted in Delta State by the GMB CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION DELTA STATE CHAPTER, headed by our Iroko, HON. TEMI HARRIMAN.
(3) That we take serious exceptions to the IRRESPONSIBLE, BASELESS and DEFAMATORY publication made against, HON. TEMI HARRIMAN in the aforementioned Newspaper.
(4) That but for the timely and strategic intervention of the GMB CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION, Delta State Chapter, headed by – HON. TEMI HARRIMAN and others and their conscientious efforts geared towards same, our president-elect wouldn’t have gotten the numbers of votes credited to him from Delta State.
(5) That Prophet Jones Ode Erue and his cohorts “parading” themselves as excos of our great party in Delta State are stooges and errand boys to O’TEGA EMERHOR who has embarked on a selfish and egocentric agenda which is detrimental to the survival of the the All Progressives Congress in Delta State.
(6) That the APC in Delta State is larger than O’TEGA EMERHOR whose sole ambition lies in himself to the detriment of the overall well being the party as a whole. Mr. O’TEGA EMERHOR is a mole in the APC and should be expose for what he is.
(7) That O’TEGA EMERHOR, Prophet Jones Ode Erue and his cohorts, “parading” themselves as excos of our great party in Delta State, single-handedly organized his Gubernatorial campaigns and personally coordinated the disbursement of funds through “persons known to them” and at the end of the elections he pulled the total number of 67,825 votes in the WHOLE 25 L.G.A OF DELTA STATE.
(8) That O’TEGA EMERHOR is from Ughelli North L.G.A and could not at least win his own Local Government, after having personally supervised the disbursement of funds through “persons known to him and his stooges”.
(9) That O’TEGA EMERHOR was only able to pull 5939 votes in his own Local Government (Ughelli North L.G.A) with a voting strength of 146,177 registered voters.
(9) That Prophet Jones Ode Erue could not also win or get at least 25% of the total votes cast in his own L.G.A (Isoko South L.G.A).
(10) That O’TEGA EMERHOR, Prophet Jones Ode Erue and his cohorts “parading” themselves as excos of our great party in Delta State could not win at least one L.G.A out of the 25 Local Government Areas in Delta State.
(11) That the said publication purporting to have expelled our erudite and one of the genuine pillars of All Progressives Congress in Delta State, is colossally bereft of any atom of legality, as it clearly shows the dumb nature of those parading themselves as leaders and excos of our party.
(12) That for the records, HON. TEMI HARRIMAN was never at anytime invited to face any panel or respond to any allegation with respect to misapplication of presidential election funds through persons not known to the party.
(13) That no petition whatsoever was written by the ward chairmen of our party in Delta South Senatorial District against HON. TEMI HARRIMAN with respect to misapplication of presidential election funds through persons not known to the party.
(14) That we cannot reconcile the rationale for the expulsion of HON. TEMI HARRIMAN as clearly stated at page 62 of the Nation of 14th April, 2015, and that stated at page 51 of Vanguard Newspaper of 15th April, 2015. A contradiction which is a clear show of shame, desperation and confusion.
(15) That it is on record as was clearly broadcast in the social media by aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress from the Delta Central Senatorial District, that O’TEGA EMERHOR personally diverted funds for the presidential election for his personal aggrandizement and this explains the reason why A.P.C GMB CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION Agents who were properly trained by the Campaign Organization were unable to send reports from their polling units to the A.P.C situation room in Abuja due to lack of mobilization.
(16) That contrary to the acrimony in Delta Central and Delta North which was not the case in Delta South, the funds for the presidential elections were duly disbursed to members of the party in Delta South Senatorial district effectively.
(17) That the rationale behind the publication is basically due to the destructive quest of O’TEGA EMERHOR in his desire of getting an appointment at the National level from a National party he never actively supported before and during the presidential elections.
WE FURTHER RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
(a) That a vote of no confidence is hereby passed on O’TEGA EMERHOR, Prophet Jones Ode Erue and his cohort “parading” themselves as excos of our great party in Delta State.
(b) That the current crops of persons parading themselves as excos of the All Progressives Congress, Delta State Chapter, from the Unit to the State level be dissolved.
(c) That we hereby resolve that HON. TEMI HARRIMAN a member of the Presidential Campaign Committee and State Coordinator of the GMB/OSINBAJO CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION, DELTA STATE CHAPTER, is and still remains a bonafide and one of the recognized leaders of the All Progressives Congress, Delta State Chapter.
(d) That we hereby unanimously resolved and agreed that an extra-ordinary congress should be called for elections of credible, committed, genuine and viable party excos who are to restructure, redirect and rebuild our great party, from its “comatose state”.
