Ogun Govt pays N4.7bn to council pensioners in eight months

 

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, on Wednesday, sacked Mr Ebenezer Olubena, Commissioner IV in the State Civil Service Commission, for acts of misconduct.

The sack order is contained in a statement by Mr Taiwo Adeoluwa, the Secretary to the State Government, in Abeokuta.

Adeoluwa said the removal is in accordance with extant laws.

Olubena was directed to hand over all government property and documents in his possession to the Permanent Secretary at the Commission.

“Consequent upon this, Mr Olubena is hereby directed to hand over all government property and documents in his possession to the Permanent Secretary at the Commission immediately.
