Alhaji Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Oyo South and Rep. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe(APC-Oluyole) have lauded the ‘purposeful leadership’ of the APC governorship candidate in Oyo State, Sen. Teslim Folarin.

This is contained in their separate birthday messages to Folarin and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Ibadan.

Folarin, a former Senate Leader and Asaaju Olubadan of Ibadan land, clocked 59 on Oct. 30.

Alli is the Maye Balogun Olubadan of Ibadan land, while Akande-Sadipe, the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Affairs, is seeking re-election on the platform of APC.

Alli, in a statement he personally signed,
acknowledged Folarin’s purposeful leadership, vision, courage and steadfastness in ensuring that the state was rescued from misrule.

He prayed for good health for the APC governorship candidate and the accomplishment of his dream, come 2023.

According to him, the three-term senator has, over the years, demonstrated qualities of a good leader among politicians and in discharging his duties as senator.

“On behalf of myself and good people of Oyo South senatorial district, I am saying a big congratulations to our governorship candidate, Sen. Teslim Folarin, as he clocks 59.

“As you celebrate today, I join numerous lovers and supporters of yours to wish you many more years of good health, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to accomplish your dream,” he said.

Alli prayed that Folarin would celebrate his next birthday in the Government House as the governor of the state, describing him as a blessing to their generation.

“We are proud of you and what you represent. Your contributions to nation development cannot be over-emphasized.

“You courageously rescued Nigeria in 2010 when we were at a crossroads shortly after the demise of the then president, Umaru Yar’Adua.

“We need such courageous man to lead Oyo state. Congratulations, people’s choice,” he said.

Akande-Sadipe, in a statement, described Folarin as a committed and seasoned public servant.

She described Folarin as a visionary leader, who had contributed immensely to his state as an experienced politician.

The lawmaker equally lauded Folarin’s courage, forthrightness and diligence in providing exemplary and broad-minded leadership for APC.

Akande-Sadipe said that the APC governorship candidate had displayed unequal style of leadership, dedication and many years of service, as one of the youngest to serve as majority leader in the senate.

“On behalf of my family and my constituents, I join family, friends, political associates, leaders and APC members to congratulate Sen. Teslim Folarin, the governorship candidate of our dear party, on his 59th birthday.

“Your accomplishments in personal and public life readily come to mind, and stand you out amongst many.

“On this occasion, I wish ‘our incoming governor’, by the grace of God, good health and wisdom, as he continues to render more services to our dear state and country,” Akande-Sadipe said.
