Chief Akintola Williams was born on August 9, 1919. He died in his sleep on September 11, 2023. He was 104 years.
He was born when Britons were Colonial Lords in Nigeria and his lifetime witnessed the tenures of 10 Governors-General and 16 Commanders-in-Chief.
