After months of bickering, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on Thursday, presided over the State Executive Council meeting in Akure.
Aiyedatiwa is the Vice Chairman of the council.

The Chairman, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, is indisposed.

It is believed he is recuperating in his Ibadan, Oyo State residence.

The exco meeting held after months of political wrangling between Aiyedatiwa and Akeredolu’s loyalists.

The state lawmakers also attempted to impeach the deputy governor.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, last Friday, summoned the combatants to a meeting in Abuja where it was agreed that Aiyedatiwa should continue to perform his duties as deputy governor.
