Pini Jason: A nation’s conscience is gone – Kalu

Pini JasonA former Governor of Abia State and Publisher of The Sun newspaper, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of prominent columnist with the Vanguard newspaper, Pini Jason Onyegbaduo.

Kalu, in a statement by his Special Adviser, Oyekunle Oyewumi, said that Onyegbaduo, even in the season when a lot of men of integrity were losing their heads, kept his and this reflected in his writings.

He said that the prominent columnist, who died on Saturday, was one of the few consciences of the nation and excelled in his chosen profession.

Kalu said: “Pini Jason’s death is quite lamentable, especially at this time when such intervention as he makes with his column is quite needed.

“Inasmuch as we cannot decide for God when any man should die, his death at this point in time is quite painful.”

Kalu commiserated with the family of Onyegbaduo and wished him eternal rest.
