Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan caretaker coaches Tunde Odubola and Hakeem Busari have come under heavy fire after the team lost their first home game this season on Wednesday.

The defeat has seen Shooting Stars drop from the top five of the league table.

Some of the fans believe that the two coaches ineptitude and poor coaching standard were responsible for the loss in the hands of Heartland Football Club, as they were confused on making the right substitutions in the tough encounter.

The fans have since come out to ask for the sack of the coaches.

Disappointed Abass Ganiyu said:”Theses two coaches are not qualified to lead 3SC. Where in the world do coaches change a winning team. We saw what happened last week against Sunshine Stars, but the reverse was the case against Heartland.

“Heartland came all the way from Owerri to beat us here in Ibadan which has never happened. I want the management of the team to see to this because we are not happy as fans.”

Also Bolaji Oseni said he was so disappointed to come all the way from Lagos to watch 3SC lose at home.

“I am so sad. The coaches have no excuse of losing this game so there is need for improvement in the team,” he said.

3SC defender Mutiu Adegoke described the defeat as a major setback.

“Heartland came with a strategy and they stuck to it for the full 90 minutes. It’s a very disappointing result for us, but we have learnt our lessons from the defeat,” stated Adegoke.

After the loss, 3SC players could not pass through the entrance of the stadium for their safety as they sneaked out through the exit door to escape the wrath of angry fans Shooting stars will resume training on Friday.
