Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, on Friday, visited Ndiagu Attakwu community in Akegbe Ugwu, Nkanu West Local Government, where suspected herdsmen killed a seminarian and injured four others on Thursday.
Visibly angry, the governor said the perpetrators would be apprehended soon by security agents.
“It is indeed unfortunate that this incident is coming just days after the Commission of Inquiry into the killings at Nimbo submitted an interim report and is about to conclude its assignment. Government will do everything necessary to ensure the culprits are apprehended and brought to book,” he said.
