Glo lines up Tuface, Olamide, eight others to entertain Lagosians at VI Mega Music concert

Telecommunications operator, Globacom, has promised its subscribers in Lagos a superlative entertainment show at its Mega Music Nationwide Tour scheduled for Victoria Island on Saturday.
The event is billed for the Eko Hotels and Suites at 4 p.m.
The data grand masters of data disclosed in a statement in Lagos that it had lined up 10 of the nation’s biggest music stars to ensure an unforgettable night of fun for its guests.
The artistes are modern highlife king and Nabania crooner, Flavour; queen of Afro-Pop, Yemi Alade; Marvin Records music duo, Reekado Banks and Korede Bello; twin sensations, Peter and Paul Okoye (PSquare) and rap superstar, Phyno. Others are dance hall music star, Runtown, Globacom’s latest  brand ambassador, Tuface Idibia, and crowd favourite, Olamide, popularly known as Badoo.
“Globacom recognises Lagos as the nation’s centre of excellence. Just two weeks ago, residents of Ajah and environs were treated to an evening of sublime entertainment by the crew of the Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour and we are back in Lagos once again to delight our teeming subscribers with  a full bouquet of entertainment with 10 top artistes’, the company said in the statement.
According to the company, “besides the music icons, six other stars in the nation’s movie industry such as the diva of Nollywood, Mercy Johnson Okojie, and her Ghollywood counterpart, Juliet Ibrahim, who will anchor the show, Nollywood legends, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Kanayo O. Kanayo,  Patience Ozokwor (Mama G) and the most celebrated Yoruba actor, Odunlade Adekola, will  make celebrity guest appearances at the event.
 “The unique feature of the Glo Mega Music Concert is the fact that all these listed artistes will be entertaining our subscribers free-of-charge. The concert is, therefore, specially designed to celebrate and reward our teeming subscribers for their loyalty and abiding faith in the Glo Brand. We assure all our subscribers wherever they are that we shall continue to delight them and bring smiles to their faces”, Globacom added.
The company advised its subscribers in the Lagos axis who wish to attend the show to recharge their Glo SIMs with a minimum of N2,000 within a month and send  “MUSIC” and the preferred location to a short code 207. “For example, Glo subscribers can send ‘MUSIC VI’ to 207 and the subscriber will get an SMS  inviting him or her to the show,” the statement said.
It also explained that subscribers could attend the show in more than one location provided they  register for each location and have used up to N2000 in the month of each event.
The Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour kicked off in Awka, Anambra State, 10 weeks ago.
It has so far been held in Owerri, Imo State, Asaba, Delta State, Aba, Abia State, Calabar, Cross River State, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Ajah, Lagos State, Benin, Edo State, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
