FirstBank clears air on ICB Acquisition.

 FBN Holdings Plc, on behalf of First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. (‘FirstBank’) wishes to clarify its

position on the media reports sourced from the recent Bank of Ghana (BoG) announcement regarding the approved application for the acquisition of International Commercial Bank (ICB) Ghana by FirstBank from ICB Financial Group Holdings AG.

Acquisition talks with ICB Financial Group Holdings AG remain ongoing and an outcome of these discussions will be communicated in due course.
