Egbedi team-up with Flying Eagles

Denmark-based winger Edafe Egbedi has completed the Flying Eagles 30-man provisional squad now in a training camp in Elfershausen, Germany.

On Wednesday, Egbedi joined the squad same day that Enugu Rangers striker Alhaji Gero, Olympiacos of Greece attacking midfielder Michael Olaitan and Daddy Moses flew into Germany from Nigeria.

Moses has reportedly signed a contract with Ajax Amsterdam from an academy in Nigeria.

The 30-man squad will feature at this year’s Toulon International Football Tournament, where they are drawn against defending champions Mexico, Portugal, Brazil and Belgium.

A final 21-man squad will be named latest June 7.

They will fly out to Turkey from Germany on June 17.

The Nigeria U20 team are drawn in Group B along with Portugal, South Korea and Cuba.

They play their first match on June 21 against Portugal in Kayseri.
